7 ways to make your eyes look bigger

1.  Brighten dark circles

Shadows will set your eyes back, literally. Colour correct dark circles with an illuminating concealer a shade slightly lighter than your foundation to lift and brighten.

2. Define your brows.

This brings attention to and frames up the entire eye area. People will perceive your eyes as bigger when more focus is put on the area surrounding them.

3. Don't apply eyeliner all the way around your eyes.

Doing so will cause your eyes to look smaller, as they will appear fenced or ringed in by the circle line. This is not necessarily a bad thing small eyes can still look mysterious and dramatic.

4. Extend the eyeliner beyond the outer corners of your eyes

This line should move upwards a little as well, mimicking a very long eyelash. This technique will make your eyes appear wider, but can be tricky to do well.

5. Use lengthening mascara

Mascara is THE magic wand for making eyes look bigger and if you use only one product make it this, but try a lengthening formula over a thickening one.

6. Apply mascara to lower lashes.

Skip liner on the lower lash line, which closes the eye in. Mascara is the perfect way to enhance the lower part of the eye without overdoing it.

7. Curl your eyelashes.

This is one of the fastest ways to open the figurative shutters on your eyes. Flipping your lashes upwards lets others see the whole eye area more clearly.

Home Remedies for Oily Skin

Pimples are probably the most feared and persistent problem with all the woman and  woman with oily skin will complain about it most.

Oily skin can be a pain to deal . The accumulation of excess oil on the outer skin layer often leads to whiteheads, blackheads, blind pimples and other skin irritations.

But don't be worry . Today i will let you know  the top 4 home remedies for oily skin.

Before i start let us know something more  about oily skin ....

Oily skin is the result of the overproduction of sebum from sebaceous glands. These glands are located under the skin’s surface. Sebum is an oily substance made of fats. Sebum isn’t all bad since it helps protect and moisturize your skin and keep your hair shiny and healthy. Too much sebum, however, may lead to oily skin, which can lead to clogged pores and acne.

1. Wash your face

It seems obvious, but many people with oily skin don’t wash their face daily. If your skin’s oily, you should wash your face twice a day — but don’t overdo it. Avoid harsh soaps or detergents. Use a gentle soap such as glycerin soap instead.

2. Egg Whites

High in vitamin A, egg whites can effectively dry out skin blemishes as well as tone and tighten up oily skin.

Whip one egg white until stiff and spread it on your skin. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with warm water. Do this twice a week.

Whip one egg white, add the juice from half a lemon and mix it well. Apply the mixture on your face, leave it on for 15 minutes and then rinse it off with warm water. This will tighten the skin and soak up excess oil.

3. Lemon Juice and Honey Mix:

Honey is one of nature’s most revered skin remedies. Thanks to its antibacterial and antiseptic abilities, it may benefit oily and acne-prone skin.

Lemon is the best home remedy for oily skin. Lemon Juice contains Citric acid which can neutralise and control the oil secretion of oily skin. It has the capacity to reduce pimples effectively.

How to:

  1. Squeeze 1 spoonful fresh Lemon juice and take the same amount of Honey in a clean bowl. Mix them well. You will get a thick liquid paste like pack now.

  2. Apply it all over the face and neck after cleansing the face properly.

  3. Use a cotton ball to apply this mixture all over the face.

  4. Leave the mixture on the face for 15 to 20 minutes.

  5. After 15 minutes, wash it off with cold water.

    4. Besan and Curd Face Pack

Besan is known as Bengal gram or dal flour, and it is available easily in our Indian kitchens. The same holds true for Curd as well. So, we don’t need to rush to a beauty store to get these beauty items. Besan is rich in proteins and vitamins, and curd is rich in vitamin A and C. Curd can keep the skin soft and supple by moisturising it properly.

How to:

  1. Take 3 teaspoons of Besan and 2 teaspoon of curd.

  2. Mix this mixture with a spoon well in a clean bowl to make a thick paste.

  3. To this thick paste, add two drops of Lemon and a pinch of Turmeric powder.

  4. Mix it well to make a mixture and then apply this paste evenly on your cleansed face and neck.

  5.  This face pack may take some time to dry.

  6. After 20 minutes to 30 minutes, apply warm water on the dried face pack to make it loose.

  7. Now rub gently to remove the face pack from the face and neck.

  8.  By rubbing like this, your skin’s dead cells will be removed. Then splash cold water to remove the rest of the face pack.

How to Apply Makeup for a Natural Look

1. Clean your face of any previous makeup.  If you have skin problems like spots/blackheads, read my article.

2. Apply some moisturizer. The fastest, most natural way to do this is with a tinted lotion. For a more natural look, instead of using foundation, use a tinted moisturizer.

 3. Use concealer to hide blemishes and powder to hide shine. Be careful not to overdo it on the concealer; you only need enough to cover the spot.

4.  Apply a powder foundation on the oilier parts of your face. Before you start, it’s best to determine whether or not you’re using the right foundation color. Get in a natural light and test the foundation to make sure it's the right color for your skin.

5. Brush on some bronzer and blush. If you were not happy with bronzer, you can apply blush instead.

6. Apply eyeliner and neutral-colored eyeshadow. To make sure you’re using the lightest touch, do your makeup in daylight, if possible. Prop up your mirror near a window. Line your upper lashline with a brown, black or gray kohl pencil. Some women prefer not to do this, as eyeliner looks a little less natural than an eye with just mascara.

7. Curl your lashes and apply some mascara. Curling your eyelashes will give you a bright, awake look. If you want to make your eyelashes stand out against you skin, put on one layer of your favorite mascara.

8. Finish with a coat of sheer lipstick or lip gloss. Avoid using chalky lipsticks or shiny lip glosses. Lip stain is generally best because it looks natural and lasts all day. Use a color that's close to your natural lip color.
